About Us
We are a small community first school, maintained by Worcestershire Local Education Authority. We admit up to 12 children into their Reception year each September. Children remain with us until the end of Year 5 ( when they are 9 or 10 years old).
Here we believe in excellence for all children, in the development of a sense of self-worth, socially and academically. We aim to develop the highest standards of personal behaviour and the fulfilling of the potential of all our children.
Care, courtesy and consideration...we all try and work with our '3 c's!'
We hope that all our children will be happy, confident and feel a growing sense of identity with the special ethos of our school.
At Pebworth First School children enjoy an enormous range of learning experiences
and benefit from our strong belief that they learn by doing. We strive for excellence
for all children, and are committed to full inclusion for everyone. Our children achieve
the highest academic standards and leave us as confident, self-assured young
people. The school has very good disabled access.
We are situated on the edge of the beautiful counties of Warwickshire,
Worcestershire and Gloucestershire, close to the Cotswolds, Stratford-upon-Avon
and Evesham. In fact, although our postcode is Warwickshire, we are a
Worcestershire school. Children join us in Reception when they are 4, and stay
with us until the end of Year 5 (10 years old). They then usually move on to
Blackminster Middle School, Evesham. However, because of the school's unique geographical location, there are many choices of subsequent school.
