Pebworth First School

The School Building

The school building is composed of three parts:

The oldest part, first used in 1904, houses an extremely spacious and well-equipped KS1/2 classroom, a smaller teaching space for our oldest children, cloakrooms and the hall.

A new section, linked to the old building, was opened in 1997 and contains the Foundation Key Stage/Key Stage 1 classroom, offices, staffroom and new toilets. We are fortunate that the school's building history has resulted in excellent facilities for learning in a setting with such character. The school is equipped with the latest computer technology including broadband access and wireless networks and has particularly good disabled access.

In 2005, a third building (again linked to the oldest part) was opened, providing wonderful, secure and appropriate space for Pebworth Pre-School, as well as the school itself. This new building was supported by Worcestershire LEA and the exciting Pebworth EYE Trust, specially created to make it happen! In addition, many, many people, business, trusts and charities have worked exceptionally hard and made financial contributions.

In 2006, a partition was built in the hall to create a third classroom.
