Pebworth First School

Autumn Term 2008

Children in Need

14th November 2008

All this planning for the big event was turning some pupils' hair red!  They were also practising their maths skills in the important job of handling all that money.

Class 3 were given the responsibility of organising the 'Children in Need' fund-raising event.  They had to organise the items donated into different groups, price items, think of what type of stalls to have and help the younger pupils when browsing and choosing items to buy.

Everyone had a great and fun day raising funds for a very worthy cause.

It was hard working pricing all the items and the children even had to decide what discounts to offer towards the end of the day.
All those cakes and food must have been tempting but our job was to get the money in from selling the food for children who are in need.
