Design and Technology

Design Technology offers children the opportunity to:

Develop their designing and making skills.

Acquire and refine the practical skills associated with making, including planning, measuring, cutting joining and shaping.

Work independently and with others.

Develop a respect for the environment and for their own and others' health and safety.

Develop an understanding of technological processes and their contribution to our society.

Build upon practical experiences by the use of investigations.
