Outdoor Education (Forest School)

The school grounds are used throughout the year for learning activities.

We also make it a priority to use and explore as much of the local environment as possible and make regular visits around the village and local farms.

Each week one class will participate in forest school and will conduct their learning in a local wood.

Each year, pupils in year 5 have the opportunity to undertake a residential adventure trip, during which activities such as abseiling, archery, kayaking are taught by fully qualified instructors. The outdoor adventure trips provide children to discover new skills and especially, to grow in confidence and self esteem.
